Pregnancy
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois advises that if you are a regular practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga then you should take a break of 3 months at the beginning of your pregnancy. He also recommends a 6 month hiatus after the birth, or at least as long as you are breast feeding. For regular practitioners we will give special assistance and help to modify the practice during the pregnancy.

We therefore recommend that if you are pregnant and have not practiced Ashtanga yoga before that you contact us after your baby is born.
